A: It was a gradual progression: a long time passion turned into a personal pursuit (getting certified) that eventually turned into a career.
A: There are two things I try to stress: One, learning about wine should be a delicious and fun experience, not intimidating or elitist. And two, taste as much as you possibly can. It’s the best way to understand and figure out what you like.
A: Working in the hospitality industry comes with daily challenges both large and small. It is an overarching professional challenge to handle them all with grace, patience and wit.
A: The gift that I am working in a field that I love, doing a job I enjoy. Every day I feel grateful and that is a big source of both inspiration and motivation.
A: I find a great source of empowerment and support in the wine community that I’m fortunate enough to be surrounded by, especially the female wine community here in L.A.
