Eleven, Stranger Things

For natural hair:

  1. Use a taupe hair mascara or eye shadow to create a slightly darker root.
  2. Using the Undone Waves barrel from the Whirl Trio, wrap the hair horizontally for five seconds then let the curl drop.
  3. Brush out the curls with your fingers and spritz with hairspray.

For synthetic wigs:

  1. Dampen the wig slightly and wrap big sections of hair around your fingers. Pin the curls.
  2. Use the Featherweight LUXE 2i dryer on the low heat setting to dry the pinned curls.
  3. Once dry, take out the pins and brush out the waves. You can also darken the roots and finish with hairspray.

For natural hair:

  1. Start with dry, clean hair. Then apply texturizing spray and tease the hair with a comb.
  2. Part the hair down the middle and tie into two high pigtails. Use ribbon or a red and blue hair ties to wrap around the elastics.
  3. Add voluminous curls to the pigtails by wrapping large pieces of hair around the Loose Waves barrel from the Whirl Trio, and brush out with your fingers.
  4. To temporarily color the ends of the pigtails (red and blue), use hair chalk or a high pigment eye shadow.
  5. Finish with hair spray.

For synthetic wigs:

  1. Spray the wig with dry shampoo to dull and whiten the hair.
  2. Pin the wig to your head and create two high pigtails. Tease each ponytail for extra volume.
  3. Add pigment powder or hair chalk to the wig to create the red and blue tones.
  4. Finish with hairspray.

Wonder Woman

  1. Start with clean, dry hair. Section off a part of hair at the crown of the head.
  2. Spray the section with hairspray, and then wrap it around a roller from the Volumizing Hot Rollers LUXE or the Voluminous Hot Rollers
  3. Repeat step 2 with the next section of hair and continue moving downward along your part (like a mohawk).
  4. Lastly, divide the remaining hair on the sides of the head and roll each section around the rollers. 
  5. Let the hair completely cool and lightly spray the entire head with a flexible hairspray before removing the rollers.
  6. Brush the hair upside down and apply additional hairspray.
  7. For more volume at the crown of the head, use a comb to back brush and tease.
  8. And for the finishing touch – your Wonder Woman headband!

  1. Start with clean damp hair and work a sculpting spray through the hair with a comb.
  2. Clip up the damp hair on top of the head, except for the bottom layer at the nape of the neck. 
  3. Taking 3″ pieces at a time, tightly braid each section all the way down and secure with a small elastic.
  4. Repeat step 3 until the entire head is braided.
  5. Use the Featherweight LUXE 2i on the high heat and low air setting to dry all of the braids. 
  6. Leave the braids in for an extra hour so they are completely dry, then take them out. 
  7. Lightly run fingers through the hair to separate the braids.
  8. Finish with hairspray.
